The Roadrunner's Wife blogs

A few months ago, my roadrunner asked if I have any bright ideas on what subjects to blog about. He says some earns money online just by doing that. More so, if your website creates traffic, you can expect to receive request from advertisers, who are willing to pay you, to advertise on your page.

Although earning money online sounds very interesting, I am not yet sure how this works; or if it will work for me. For one, I do not claim to be an excellent writer! I think, I still have a lot to learn to practice this craft. And even so, I expect the 'sticklers' in you, to occasionally spot some errors on my write-ups. Secondly, and an even greater challenge, I could not write about something I am not emotionally attached with; or if I do not have any idea what the subject matter is all about and/or how it works. Definitely, writing reviews for products I haven't tried or writing about tooth jackets which I haven't experienced yet, is definitely not for me! --- My roadrunner however, excels in that. It's like he breathes words so effortlessly!

So this idea floated at the back of my mind, a few weeks ago and came one inspired tuesday night, I googled how to earn from blogging online. I came across this page with List of 26 Sites That Pay You To Blog. Interesting, eyh? My attention was drawn to blogburner.com. It says, "Get your own FREE blog on BlogBurner and just post to your blog - and get paid. We'll show you how." What's more attractive is that, they allow you to write about subjects that you are passionate about! So I quickly registered an account, and followed the instructions to create a Google Adsense account as well. Afterwhich I received an email confirming my application, but accordingly, I will need to click a given link to complete my registration. I am not sure what the case is, but the link always prompts an error message "Can't connect to cpanel". I suppose cpanel refers to control panel? Has any of you encountered the same error? I am confused as well. I have tried several times for a couple of days. Yesterday, I gave up and created a blog account here in blogger.com. I think it is more hassle free. And I wouldn't have to download or install anything unlike wordpress. As you can conclude already, I am not the "techie type", so the simpler the method, the better for me.

And so this starts my attempt to blog to earn, or i guess the more proper online jargon for it is Pay per Post.

In this blogsite, I'll try to write just about anything under the sun. But I guess the bulk of my blogs will be about my Roadrunner, and about being a Runner myself.

Stay tuned =)
